INVASION EN AVIGNON
THE CAMO INVASION

That was for tactical reasons. I was invited to participate in a big art festival in Avignon ("La beauté", summer 2000), for which I wanted to invade the city and to make a map of the invasion. But a few weeks before I start, I received a phone call from the festival organization, asking me to change my plans because Avignon was a very old city with a lot of listed historic buildings that I was not allowed to invade !
Then my idea was to do it anyway but to turn it into a special camo invasion. The basis were that the Space Invaders were made with the same color as the walls.
